Job summary

Scale AI’s Outlier initiative seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media, including live conversations with AI voice models and comparison of AI-produced images and videos. You will rate, rank, and explain your judgments in writing, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Ideal candidates are Fluent English speakers with strong written communication, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to decide clearly when options have flaws. Bachelor’s degree or higher is a plus.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Great attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when needed.
• Able to think on your feet and discuss real-world scenarios naturally.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which follows the prompt better.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, flickering, or misaligned audio.
• Provide written explanations pointing to observed issues and improvements.
