Job summary

Outlier, an AI training platform owned by Scale AI, is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, rank naturalness, and explain discrepancies in writing, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Responsibilities include image, video, caption, and audio evaluations, plus clear, evidence-based explanations. Ideal candidates have fluent English, keen attention to detail, and good written communication.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and careful listening skills.
• Able to explain observations clearly in writing.
• Comfortable deciding between imperfect options.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Holding live conversations in English with AI voice models and rating naturalness and usefulness.
• Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging prompt adherence.
• Inspecting outputs closely to spot problems like distorted anatomy, artifacts, or audio-visual mismatches.
• Writing concise explanations pointing to what was observed or heard, across tasks.
