Job summary

Scale AI, via its Outlier platform, is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with AI voice models, rank outputs for prompt adherence, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Ideal candidates have strong written English, high attention to detail, and the ability to decide clearly when choices are imperfect. This is a freelance, 1099 opportunity with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Fluent English with clear written communication and comfort in everyday conversation.
• Strong attention to detail and patience to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Ability to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.
• Compare AI-generated images/videos and judge which better follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely to spot issues like artifacts, distortions, or audio-video mismatches.
• Write specific English explanations pointing to what you saw or heard.
