Job summary

Outlier, an AI training platform owned by Scale AI, is seeking detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model and score exchanges, and compare AI-generated images and videos to assess which follows prompts more accurately.

You’ll write concise explanations in English describing what looked or sounded off, and you’ll work remotely on your own schedule.

Qualifications

Fluent English speaker with clear written communication.
Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
Comfortable thinking on your feet and describing realistic situations.
Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.

Responsibilities

Holding a live, scenario-based conversation in English with AI voice models and ranking naturalness and usefulness.
Comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos and judging adherence to prompts.
Inspecting outputs to spot errors like distorted anatomy, flickering, or mis-matched audio.
Writing explanations in English that point to observed issues.
