Job summary

Outlier is seeking English-fluent contributors to help train generative AI voice, image, and video models. This remote, flexible freelance role lets you work on live conversations, content evaluation, and detailed written feedback from Canada.

You’ll rate outputs for naturalness, usefulness, and clarity and provide evidence-based explanations. Compensation includes an hourly core rate with additional incentive opportunities.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when needed.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing real scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when both options have flaws.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rank naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare pairs of AI-generated images/videos and judge adherence to prompts.
• Inspect outputs closely for issues like distorted motion, text errors, or audio-video mismatch.
• Provide concise, specific written explanations pointing to what you saw or heard.
