Job summary

Scale AI's Outlier platform seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media by conversing with an AI voice model and scoring exchanges, comparing images and videos to prompts, and explaining issues in writing.

You can work remotely with flexible hours, receive weekly payments, and benefit from incentives based on project performance; prior QA or data review experience is helpful.

Qualifications

• Fluent English speaker with strong written communication.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to focus closely.
• Ability to articulate judgments in written form with examples.
• Clear decision making when options have flaws.
• Nice to have: pursuing or holding a Bachelor’s degree or above.

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness, usefulness, and clarity.
• Compare AI-generated images and videos and judge which better follows the prompt.
• Inspect outputs closely, zoom in, replay, and spot issues like distorted anatomy or audio mismatches.
• Write concise, evidence-based explanations in English explaining what you saw or heard.
