Job summary

Outlier, an AI training platform operated by Scale AI, seeks detail-oriented English speakers to review AI-generated media. You will roleplay live conversations with an AI voice model, score each exchange, and explain in writing what looked or sounded wrong, all remotely and on your own schedule.

Responsibilities include ranking how natural, useful, and clear each interaction sounded; comparing pairs of AI-generated images and videos to judge which follows the prompt better; and writing concise

Qualifications

• Fluent English with strong written communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to replay or zoom in when something seems off.
• Comfortable thinking on your feet and discussing realistic scenarios.
• Experience writing short, evidence-based explanations or reviews.
• Able to make clear decisions when options have flaws.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher (nice to have).

Responsibilities

• Hold live, scenario-based conversations in English with AI voice models and rate naturalness and usefulness.

• Inspect outputs closely for distortions, flickering, or mismatches in audio/video.
