Job summary

Lever, Inc. is seeking an experienced AI Architect specialized in agentic systems to design production-ready AI solutions in Canada.

The role centers on building end-to-end AI architectures, combining RAG, embeddings, and multi-agent orchestration across healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and retail domains. You will work with subject-matter experts to translate complex workflows into AI-powered processes, integrate with enterprise systems, and deploy, monitor, and continuously optimize

Qualifications

• 8+ years building Python-based AI systems and production-grade AI solutions.
• 8+ years hands-on experience with generative AI technologies including LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and prompt engineering.
• 8+ years of traditional machine learning experience (classification, regression, NLP, time-series, anomaly detection).
• 5+ years of full-stack development (API design and UI integration).
• 5+ years of Azure experience (Azure ML, Azure OpenAI, Azure Functions, AKS).
• 5+ years in regulated or compliance-heavy environments.
• Demonstrated experience building and operating production AI systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement agentic AI workflows and architectures across multiple industries.
• Build LLM-powered systems with RAG, embeddings, tool-calling agents, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Develop healthcare AI solutions such as clinical assistants and care-pathway automation.
• Integrate AI with EHRs, data lakes, ERP, CRM, and IoT platforms.
• Deploy, monitor, and optimize production AI systems in Azure.
