Job summary

AutoCanada is seeking an AI Engineer to join the Information Management team in a remote role. You will translate complex business problems into AI agent specifications and build practical AI solutions using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Fabric.

You will collaborate with business leaders to shape AI strategy, deploy agents in production, and ensure governance, security, and cost optimization across enterprise data assets. This role offers fast-paced, impactful work across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in CS/Engineering/Data Science or related field.
• 2–5+ years in software/AI engineering or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AI Foundry, agents, and tool integration.

Responsibilities

• Translate business problems into well-defined agent specs and success criteria.
• Design and build AI agents using Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft technologies.
• Integrate agents with enterprise tools, data sources, APIs and external apps.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize agent instructions, prompts, workflows, and tool integrations.
• Deploy, monitor, and support agents in production environments.
