Job summary

Custom Truck One Source (CTOS) is seeking a Remote Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to service CTOS equipment across Northern Ontario. The role requires travel to customer sites and independent problem-solving in the field.

Ideal candidates hold an Ontario Journeyperson or Red Seal certification with strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic skills and a willingness to travel extensively in the region. Excellent diagnostic abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson certification or Red Seal preferred.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 75% across Northern Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on CTOS equipment.
• Travel to customer locations and service sites across Northern Ontario.
• Ensure safety and quality standards are met during field service.
• Document work orders and communicate repair progress to management.
