Petroglyph Development Group is hiring for a Part Time Floor Security position at River Rock Casino Resort in Richmond, BC. The role focuses on safety, asset protection, and creating a welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Under supervision of the Shift Manager, you will conduct patrols, enforce access control, and support incident reporting. Previous security experience and relevant certificates are preferred, with opportunities for growth in a dynamic resort setting.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work a flexible schedule including overnights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be comfortable working 10 hour shifts.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience.
• Serving it Right Certificate.
• Security license an asset.
• Occupational First Aid Level 2 Certificate an asset.
• Ability to successfully obtain a Gaming License.
• Fluency in other languages an asset.

Responsibilities

• Monitors, documents and prepares statements on violations, unsafe conditions, hazards, suspicious persons or activities.
• Enforces restricted access by unauthorized persons.
• Escorts cash/cash equivalents; reports found property to Lost and Found.
• Performs regular patrols of the facility interior and exterior as directed.
• Escorts guests and team members as directed; conducts identification checks.
• Refers disputes to the Supervisor, Security.
• May perform electronic surveillance of non-gaming facilities at some locations.
• Liaises with appropriate departments; builds strong relationships with guests and team members.
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and statutory regulations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $23.91 To $24.52 Hourly

Under the direct supervision of the Shift Manager, Security, this position is responsible for the safety and protection of team members, guests, the facility (both internal and external) and the company's assets while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members. Ensures adherence to the Company's policies and procedures, motivates and leads by example and supports the company's learning environment while establishing a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.

Key Accountabilities

• Enforces restricted access by unauthorized persons
• Escorts cash/cash equivalents
• Tags and reports found property; transfers items to Lost and Found
• Conducts regular patrols of the facility interior and exterior as directed
• Escorts guests and team members as directed
• Performs identification checks as required
• Refers disputes to the Supervisor, Security
• May perform electronic surveillance of non-gaming facilities, including exterior and adjacent properties at some locations
• May enroll guests in the Self-Exclusion Program
• Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
• Builds strong working relationships with guests and team members
• Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed
