Fraser Health Authority in Delta, BC is seeking a Relief Part Time Registered Nurse to join our team. The role requires BC RN registration, with diverse clinical experience and a driver’s licence for local travel.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage and benefits, with a relief assignment available until April 2028, supporting continuity of patient care in urgent primary care and clinic settings.

Qualifications

• Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum one year of recent related clinical experience in acute, urgent/emergency, or related clinical area.
• Experience assessing and treating children, youth and adults in acute, community or outpatient care contexts.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking and communication skills.
• Valid BC Driver's Licence and access to a personal vehicle for business travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients in scheduled or urgent primary care using observation, assessment and documentation.
• Process orders, administer medications, carry out treatments and monitor effects.
• Establish therapeutic relationships to support client autonomy and informed care planning.
• Coordinate with primary care providers and interprofessional teams to ensure seamless care transitions.
• Develop and monitor comprehensive client care plans and facilitate transitions to community providers.
