Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
• Ability to assess and plan nursing care in acute inpatient settings.
• Strong collaboration with interprofessional care teams and families.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect information to diagnose and plan nursing care.
• Collaborate with patients and families in developing care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care, set priorities, and delegate tasks as needed.
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes per Fraser Health procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and interprofessional communications.
• Mentor new staff and contribute to quality improvement activities.
