Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a full-time British Columbia Interior/Northern Relief Pharmacist to support multiple locations across BC's interior and northern communities. The role offers travel, varied assignments, and opportunities to expand clinical practice beyond a single site.

You will provide medication reviews, immunizations, and patient counseling while ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

  • Licensed and in good standing with the British Columbia College of Pharmacists.
  • Injection certification is required.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver clinical services such as medication reviews, chronic disease management and care plan development. Administer vaccines and immunizations.
  • Determine appropriateness of drug therapy and monitor for effectiveness, side effects, and interactions.
  • Counsel patients on prescriptions, over-the-counter products, and health-related topics, including indications, contraindication, side effects, and proper usage and storage.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, provincial, and regulatory standards governing pharmacy practice.
  • Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
