Job summary

Save-On-Foods in Burnaby, BC is seeking a Relief Pharmacist for Madison Centre to support daily pharmacy operations, dispense medications, and provide patient-centred care. You will manage inventory, ensure regulatory compliance, and offer private consultations while delivering clinical services including health screenings.

Canadian pharmacist licensure with good standing and injection certification are required.

Qualifications

• Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing.
• Injection certification required.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with OAT and required training when applicable.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when needed.
• Additional training or certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing and vaccinations.
• Maintain inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with provincial and federal regulations and policies.
• Stay updated on trends in pharmacy and medicines.
• Provide private consultations with patients, maintaining patient-centred care.

We are hiring for a Relief Pharmacist to support our store Madison Centre in Burnaby, BC.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and are in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$48.00 - $51.00 The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
