Save-On-Foods Pharmacy in Salmon Arm, BC is seeking a Pharmacist to join our team. You will manage day-to-day operations, dispense medications, administer vaccinations, and provide private consultations in a patient-centred care environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing, injection certification, and experience with OAT. Proficiency with Kroll software is preferred, with opportunities for career advancement.

Qualifications

• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and required training is expected.
• Ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.

We are hiring for a Pharmacist at our location in Salmon Arm, BC.

This position is eligible for a signing bonus and moving allowance for the successful candidate.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing day-to-day pharmacy operations including dispensing, maximizing clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations.
• Maintaining inventory within the pharmacy.
• Ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Remaining current on latest trends in the pharmacy industry by keeping up with new medications and clinical opportunities.
• Offering private consultations to our patients while maintaining a patient-centred care culture.
• Providing clinical services including medication management and health screening.

You have:

• A Canadian Pharmacist licence and is in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists.
• Your injection certification.
• Proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
• Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required.
• The ability to assess, plan and apply clinical knowledge when required.
• Additional training or certifications (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$64.00 - $67.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
