Job summary

Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. is seeking a Reliability Engineer in our Steelmaking division to enhance equipment longevity and efficiency by developing and implementing maintenance strategies that maximize uptime.

You will lead asset management initiatives, RCFA investigations, and condition-based monitoring programs, while deploying Oracle eAM Master Data within the Oracle Database and collaborating with Maintenance, Operations, Quality and Projects to ensure reliable, safe operations.

Qualifications

• Develop and maintain asset management and risk-control plans.
• Lead RCFA investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Deploy and maintain Oracle eAM Master Data within the Oracle DB.

Responsibilities

• Develop, monitor and continuously improve an Asset Management Plan and related risk controls.
• Deploy, develop, enhance, support and maintain Oracle eAM Master Data in the Oracle Database.
• Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures impacting plant operations.
• Perform RCFA on delays, track actions and evaluate effectiveness.
• Evaluate and implement CBM and PdM technologies where applicable.
• Support CAPEX projects to ensure reliability of new/modified installations.

Job Description and Responsibilities

Join Interpro Pipe & Steel as a Reliability Engineer in our Steelmaking division, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the longevity and efficiency of our operations. This position offers the unique opportunity to drive innovation by developing and implementing maintenance strategies that ensure optimal equipment performance.

• Develop, monitor and continuously improve an Asset Management Plan that includes a Risk Management Plan to identify and control risks, an Asset Operating Plan that standardizes processes and procedures for proper operation and an Asset Maintenance Plan to optimize predictive and preventive maintenance programs for all assets
• Accountable for the deployment, development, enhancement, support and maintenance of all Oracle eAM 12.2 Master Data which resides within the Oracle Database
• Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include availability, performance, capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues
• Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on unscheduled delays exceeding threshold criteria, track associated action items, complete effectiveness evaluation and drive resolution
• Evaluate and implement condition-based monitoring (CBM) technologies and predictive maintenance (PdM) where applicable (acoustic emissions, alignment, dynamic balancing, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, oil analysis, ultrasonic, vibration analysis)
• Support the capital project process (CAPEX) and work with Maintenance, Operations, Quality and Projects to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations
