Interpro Pipe & Steel Inc. in Regina, SK invites a Reliability Engineer to advance asset reliability and efficiency across our steelmaking operations. You will develop and implement maintenance strategies to maximize uptime and reduce cost.

Qualifications include a BASc in Engineering, 5+ years in industrial manufacturing, experience with CBM/PdM and RCFA, proficiency with Oracle eAM 12.2, and strong communication. P.Eng is an asset.

Qualifications

  • Engineer with BASc in engineering and professional licensure is preferred (P.Eng).
  • Experience in industrial manufacturing and reliability engineering.
  • Proficiency with CBM/PdM and RCFA techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage Asset Management Plan with risk and operating plans.
  • Perform RCFA on unscheduled delays and drive resolution.
  • Evaluate CBM/PdM technologies and implement where applicable.
  • Support CAPEX processes to ensure reliability in new/modified installations.
  • Identify cost reductions through asset life improvements.

As a team we collaborate to solve problems, contribute ideas and challenge each other to ensure growth and ultimately success for the business and our employees.**Job Description and Responsibilities**Join Interpro Pipe & Steel as a Reliability Engineer in our Steelmaking division, where you'll play a crucial role in enhancing the longevity and efficiency of our operations. This position offers the unique opportunity to drive innovation by developing and implementing maintenance strategies that ensure optimal equipment performance.* Develop, monitor and continuously improve an Asset Management Plan that includes a Risk Management Plan to identify and control risks, an Asset Operating Plan that standardizes processes and procedures for proper operation and an Asset Maintenance Plan to optimize predictive and preventive maintenance programs for all assets* Accountable for the deployment, development, enhancement, support and maintenance of all Oracle eAM 12.2 Master Data which resides within the Oracle Database* Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely affect plant operations. These problems include availability, performance, capacity, quality, cost or regulatory compliance issues* Perform Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) on unscheduled delays exceeding threshold criteria, track associated action items, complete effectiveness evaluation and drive resolution* Evaluate and implement condition-based monitoring (CBM) technologies and predictive maintenance (PdM) where applicable (acoustic emissions, alignment, dynamic balancing, infrared thermography, motor circuit analysis, oil analysis, ultrasonic, vibration analysis)* Support the capital project process (CAPEX) and work with Maintenance, Operations, Quality and Projects to ensure the reliability and maintainability of new and modified installations* Contribute to planning of production capacity based on analysis of preventive maintenance requirements, repair histories and inspection reports* Identify potential for cost reduction through extended parts life, reduced labor cost, and other material-related improvement techniques**Requirements*** Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Engineering* Minimum of five (5) years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing environment* P.Eng considered an asset* Experience with condition-based monitoring (CBM) and predictive maintenance (PdM)* Intermediate to advanced user within CMMS system (Oracle eAM 12.2 preferred, SAP, etc.)* Ability to interpret P&ID drawings (electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, etc.)* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Project, and PowerPoint)* Proven teamwork, demonstrated written and verbal communication skills* Highly organized with an attention to detail in the administration of projectsOur total compensation package includes amazing benefits!* Competitive wages and bonus opportunities* Family medical, dental, and prescription coverage at minimal employee cost* Short and long-term disability programs* Competitive retirement plans* Employer-provided and Voluntary Life Insurance options* Paid vacation and recognized statutory holidays* Apprenticeship and career advancement within the company* Tuition reimbursement
