Our Client, a Banking company, is looking for a Release Train Engineer II for their Toronto, ON/Hybrid location.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a regular cadence of interaction with Agile teams and stakeholders.
- Conduct daily standups with the Pod, executing and delivering work effectively.
- Manage the day-to-day delivery process from task initiation to IT deployment.
- Facilitate release processes, coordination, and execution across Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
- Escalate impediments, manage risks, ensure value delivery, and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in transformation initiatives, coaching leaders, teams, and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets to achieve agility.
- Lead, coordinate, and coach multiple Agile teams as a subject matter expert for the Next Evolution of Work (NEW).
- Coordinate features deployment on ARTs, considering dependencies, order, and architecture.
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through ARTs using tools like Kanban.
- Establish and communicate Program Increments (PIs), facilitate PI Readiness, System Demos, PI Planning, and related meetings.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) and Program Manager (PM).
- IT background with strong stakeholder communication skills.
- PMP certification.
- Experience with application such as Colibra, liquidity, or treasury systems is a plus.
- 2-4 years of experience as a Coach, Product Manager, or Scrum Master.
- Certified SAFe Release Train Engineer (RTE), SAFe Program Consultant (SPC), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
- Proficiency with Agile management tools and experience coaching multiple Agile teams.
