enCompass Community Safety Agency seeks a Release Support Worker to assist individuals transitioning from the Edmonton Remand Centre into the community, focusing on release planning, systems navigation, and connecting to supports for goal achievement.

Salary Range: $53,060.40 To $62,611.27 Annually

Position Summary:
The Release Support Worker will support individuals transitioning from the Edmonton Remand Centre into the community by assisting with release planning, systems navigation and connecting participants to the supports and resources needed to achieve their self-identified goals. The Release Support Worker’s role is to support transformational change for participants through strong partnerships with various community resources and support services. The Release Support Worker will work together with the participant, in a client-centered approach, to develop integrated plans that address identified needs including education, employment training, financial support, addiction recovery, housing and pro social supports.
