Encompass Support Services Society in Langley is seeking an Indigenous Child, Youth, and Family Advocate to support Indigenous individuals and families affected by crime through a cultural lens. You will provide trauma-informed care and collaborate with the trauma support team to ensure continuity of care.
The role requires strong collaboration with health services, Indigenous communities, and other support programs, with a focus on anti-violence and reconciliation.

The Indigenous Child, Youth, and Family Advocate (“Indigenous Advocate”) supports Indigenous individuals and families who have been victims of crime with the intention of supporting through a cultural lens and improving interactions with the justice system. The Indigenous Advocate provides trauma-informed and culturally safe care to people who have experienced abuse or violence, and takes a holistic approach in supporting their family members and circle of care. This position works in collaboration with other members of the trauma support services team to provide continuity of care and timely support to Indigenous and non‑Indigenous participants.

SALARY RANGE: Grid 13: $31.77 - $35.29 (Hourly) – Depending on experience & qualifications
