As a key member of a Client Relationship Team, your collaborative and client-centric approach enables coordination with multiple partners, resulting in an exceptional client experience. Your solution-development skills, combined with business development and client service expertise, will set the stage for success.

What will you do?
  • Apply your business development experience for prospecting and lead generation to acquire new and maintain existing clients.
  • Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering superior business and financial advice within a Client Relationship Team model.
  • Collaborate with a team of expert advisors to create and execute client contact strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
  • Demonstrate portfolio management and risk mitigation through financial statement reviews, trend identification, risk monitoring, and credit restructuring assessment.
  • Identify referral opportunities and make appropriate introductions to RBC partners.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
  • 3-5 years of commercial banking experience.
  • Proven client-centricity, business development, and relationship management skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Skills in new client acquisition, including pitching value propositions, lead generation, cold calling, and asking for referrals.
  • Experience with emerging communication technologies (web meetings, social media, Digital Banking, Mobile Applications).
Nice-to-have
  • Credit skills including risk assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring, and deal presentation.
  • Industry expertise in areas such as real estate, healthcare, or agriculture.
  • University degree in commerce, business administration, or related fields.
