What will you do?
- Leverage your business development experience for prospecting and lead generation with new and existing clients.
- Deliver an exceptional client experience by providing superior business and financial advice within a Client Relationship Team model.
- Collaborate with a team of expert advisors to create and implement client contact strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Manage portfolios and mitigate risks through financial statement reviews, trend analysis, risk monitoring, and credit restructuring assessments.
- Utilize RBC's resources to identify referral opportunities, make introductions, and coordinate with RBC partners.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 3-5 years of commercial banking experience.
- Proven client-centricity, business development, and relationship management skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in new client acquisition, including pitching, lead generation, cold calling, and asking for referrals.
- Familiarity with emerging communication and technology tools (web meetings, social media, Digital Banking, Mobile Apps).
Nice-to-have
- Credit skills such as risk assessment, financial analysis, credit structuring, and deal presentation.
- Industry-specific expertise (e.g., real estate, healthcare, agriculture).
- University degree in commerce, business administration, or related fields.
