Job summary

TD Asset Management (TDAM) seeks a Relationship Manager to grow TDAM strategies within a TD PWM territory and nurture client relationships. Reporting to the Director, Internal Distribution, you will coordinate with Portfolio Managers and Advisors to execute the business plan and enhance revenue across regions.

You will mentor a Business Development Manager, bring industry intelligence, and ensure compliant sales practices while delivering superior client service and investment guidance.

Qualifications

• University degree.
• Preference given to industry accreditations (CFA, CIM, CFP, FCSI).
• 5+ years of industry sales experience.
• In-depth knowledge of both asset management and wealth management industry.
• Effective presentation and communication skills.
• Strong interest in capital markets.
• Excels in a sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Co-manage an assigned territory of TD Private Investment Counsel and Private Investment Advice advisors and portfolio managers.
• Mentor the Business Development Manager, providing guidance on analytics and business development strategies.
• Become an indispensable business partner by providing industry intelligence, business strategy and sound investment counsel.
• Execute on the business plan, meet activity targets and ensure excellent customer service.
• Plan and execute sales activities to attract, retain and acquire clients.
• Develop new business and increase share of wallet within the region.
• Work collaboratively with internal partners to maximize distribution effectiveness and provide a seamless client experience.
• Become a highly specialized resource for TD platforms, products and processes.
• Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts.
• Uphold corporate and industry sales practices, assess and manage opportunities for co-op marketing from both a business and NI 81-105 perspective.
