CIBC in Timmins, ON is seeking an Associate Financial Advisor to serve personal and small business clients. You will assess needs, propose simple financial plans, and deepen client relationships while managing mortgage portfolios. The role may involve evenings and weekends and travel between centers.

You will hold a Mutual Funds Licence or Investment Funds in Canada with CIRO-MFD eligibility; CFSA is a plus. A strong client focus and collaborative team approach are essential.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience providing financial advice to clients
• Proven ability to achieve sales results through advice-based conversations
• Current accreditation and good standing in Mutual Funds/Investment Funds in Canada

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand personal and business priorities and recommend solutions
• Manage a portfolio of mortgage clients and deepen client relationships
• Engage in marketing and outreach to grow your network and revenue
• Leverage technology to introduce clients to mobile banking apps and services
