Job summary

CBI Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant for our Kitchener Greenbrook clinic to support physiotherapists and the clinical team. You will handle shared administrative duties while assisting with caseloads, maintaining an organized workspace and ensuring safety in the gym area.

The role emphasizes strong computer, analytical and time-management skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• A Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma.
• Exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• The ability to work under pressure and to take and follow direction.
• The ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist
• Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads
• Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage
• Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts
• Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards
• Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families
• Administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents
• Uploading service provider reports
