Job summary

CBI Health is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant in Brampton, ON. You will support Physiotherapists, handle shared admin tasks, and demonstrate strong organizational and computer skills in a busy clinic environment.

You will join a large national network and contribute to efficient patient flow, accurate charting, and timely clerical audits while maintaining a clean, safe gym and reception area.

Qualifications

• A Kinesiology degree or PTA/OTA diploma is required.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills are essential.
• Strong critical thinking and time management skills required.
• Excellent communication and computer skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure and follow directions.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as a liaison between the client and the Physiotherapist.
• Assist with the Physiotherapist’s caseloads.
• Assemble chart packages and bar-code charts for offsite storage.
• Process and perform clerical audits for discharged patient charts.
• Maintain a presentable/organized clinic and ensure that the gym area is free of obvious safety hazards.
• Mail out satisfaction surveys to patients and their families.
• Administrative tasks, including answering phones, processing supply orders and photocopying documents.
• Uploading service provider reports.
