Job summary

Interior Health in Castlegar, BC is offering a permanent full-time Rehabilitation Assistant position within a multidisciplinary team. Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech-Language Pathologist, you will help implement rehabilitative plans and support patient progress.

The role includes working Tuesday to Saturday, with shifts 07:15–16:09 Tuesday to Friday and 07:15–11:15 on Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Completion of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Current valid B.C. Driver’s License if applicable.

• Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client.
• The Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression.
