Interior Health is hiring a permanent part-time Community Rehabilitation Assistant in Kamloops. You will support therapists, carry out treatment plans, assist with daily living activities, and deliver therapy programs in clients' homes and community sites. Position requires driving within Kamloops and shifts Tue-Fri from 08:00 to 16:00; redeployment to other areas may occur as needed.
We are hiring for a permanent part-time 0.80fte Community Rehabilitation Assistant in Kamloops. This position requires driving within the Kamloops area and you are required to hold a valid B.C. Driver’s License and may be required to drive a personal car on mileage and/or be assigned a fleet vehicle as a condition of employment. This position may be redeployed to support other operational areas if required.
Applicable positions may qualify for up to $15,000 as a recruitment incentive and/or be eligible for relocation allowance.

Under the clinical direction of a Physiotherapist, Occupational Therapist or Speech Language Pathologist, the Community Rehabilitation Assistant functions as a member of the multidisciplinary team in meeting the needs of the client. The Community Rehabilitation Assistant carries out rehabilitative treatment plans and programs and assists the therapist in monitoring and evaluating patients/residents’ progression. The Community Rehabilitation Assistant assists clients with activities of daily living, and implements group and individual therapy programs in clients homes and other community sites.

Graduate of a recognized Rehabilitation Assistant Program, plus one year’s recent related experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Current valid BC Driver’s License.
