The CIBC Breast Assessment Centre (BAC) is a multidisciplinary organized breast assessment centre bringing together expertise in radiology, pathology, surgery, medical radiation technology, ultrasound, nursing, and genetic counseling. The CIBC BAC provides rapid diagnostic evaluation to women who are symptomatic and/or have a screen-detected abnormality, ensuring timely navigation to surgical or medical treatment. It also supports radiological procedures for breast surgery.
As a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team, the Technologist performs and assesses mammographic images to produce high-quality diagnostic images. Participates in planning and organizing patient activities related to breast screening and diagnostic assessment. Provides optimal patient care and demonstrates professionalism. Assists in related activities as needed.
Days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. This position is temporary until August 2026.
