VetCare Canada Inc. in Elora, Ontario, is seeking a part-time Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our compassionate, collaborative clinic.

The RVT will support the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, prepare patients and equipment, and administer medicines under the Veterinarian's direction.

Qualifications

• RVT must have VTNE or be eligible to write VTNE.
• Must be in good standing with provincial regulatory association.
• Completion of a Canadian Veterinary/Animal Health Tech Diploma program.

Responsibilities

• Assist Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures using diagnostic equipment.
• Prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery.
• Administer and monitor medicines under direction of a Veterinarian.

Wellington Veterinary Services in Elora, ON is looking for a part-time team member to join our compassionate and collaborative clinic. This position is approximately 10 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours to cover vacation and sick days.

Is This Role Right For You?

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program. Please note this position is part time.
