Job summary

VetCare Canada Inc. invites a Registered Veterinary Technician to join North Waterloo Vet Hospital in Elmira, Ontario. The RVT will build positive client relationships, provide compassionate care to pets, and support veterinarians with medical, surgical and dental procedures.

The ideal candidate has VTNE eligibility and holds a Canadian veterinary technology diploma, in good standing with the regulatory body. We offer flexible full-time or part-time options, competitive wages, and benefits.

Is This Role Right For You?

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.
