VetCare Canada's Don Valley Animal Hospital is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) to join our warm, collaborative team in Toronto. You will support veterinarians with medical, surgical and dental procedures, using diagnostic equipment, preparing patients and instruments, and monitoring medicines under supervision.

A 2–3 year Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma is required, VTNE eligibility or completion is expected, and active provincial registration is

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) builds positive client relationships by displaying genuine care and compassion towards clients and their pets, being respectful in all interactions and providing exceptional customer service. The RVT also assists the Veterinarian with medical, surgical and dental procedures, by using a range of diagnostic equipment, preparing patients, instruments and equipment for surgery; and administering and monitoring medicines under the direction of a Veterinarian.

Our ideal Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) must have passed the VTNE or be eligible to write the VTNE, be in good standing with the provincial regulatory association and successfully completed a 2 or 3-year accredited Canadian Veterinary or Animal Health Technology Diploma Program.

Pay Range: $25.00/hr - $33.00/hr
