Job summary

St. Joseph's Health System (SJHS) is seeking a Radiography MRT for the General Radiology Charlton department. The role requires current CMRITO registration and adherence to SJHS policies, with a focus on maintaining competency and safety standards.

The position is casual, part-time and spans multiple Hamilton sites, with afternoons, days, evenings, nights and on-call shifts. Unionized with OPSEU Local 206.

Qualifications

• Current registration with CMRITO is required
• CAMRT membership and Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences preferred
• Documentation of continued post-graduate education is required
• Willingness to participate in departmental committees and meetings (Quality Management, Safety, Education, Team Meetings)
• Experience with Hospital Radiology Information Systems is required
• Computer skills in a Windows environment are an asset
• Previous years of MRT experience is essential
• Knowledge of quality control procedures on equipment is required
• Good attendance and work record is essential

Responsible to maintain competency and follow standards as outlined by the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO). The Department requires a team approach to assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) is required
• Membership in the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and the Ontario Association of Medical Radiation Sciences is preferred
• Documentation of continued post‑graduate education is required
• Must be willing to participate in departmental committees and meetings (e.g. Quality Management Committee Safety Committee Education Committee Team Meetings)
• Experience with Hospital Radiology Information Systems required
• Computer skills in a Windows environment are a definite asset
• Previous years of experience as an MRT is essential
• Knowledge of quality control procedures on equipment will be required
• Good attendance and work record is essential
