NuVista Mental Health is seeking a Registered Psychotherapist for Couples to join our Toronto location as a full-time independent contractor. In this role you will provide psychotherapy and related assessments, with a focus on trauma-informed care, and manage a caseload with clinical supervision as needed.

You will operate in-person, with administrative support for referrals, scheduling, billing, and HR/marketing.

Qualificações

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with trauma-informed practice.
• Ability to provide psychotherapy, psychoeducational and/or psychological assessments.
• Licensed with Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists (CRPO) or eligible for registration.

Responsabilidades

• Provide psychotherapy and/or assessments for individuals, couples, and families.
• Maintain timely case notes and professional reports.
• Collaborate with administrative staff as an independent contractor to manage referrals and scheduling.

OurFull Time Independent Contractors (20+ billable hours per week)have options including:

We are looking for someone who possesses the following:

• Registered Psychotherapist able to provide Psychotherapy, Psychoeducational and/or Psychological Assessments
• PhD or Masters in Counselling or Clinical Psychology
• You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in areas of practice, with an emphasis on trauma-informed practice
• The ability to work In-Person would be an asset/preferred
• You do not require supervision hours to be completed for CRPO
• You are registered with the appropriate licensing body in Ontario
• You possess Professional Liability Insurance or are willing to obtain
• You demonstrate professionalism and effective case management skills (e.g., timely reports)

Who We are

At NUVISTA Mental Health, our mission is to provide a safe and supportive environment for clients, clinicians, and staff.

We work closely with governmental agencies, organizations who assist veterans, military personnel, first responders and many other referral sources. However, our referrals are not limited to trauma-related challenges as we also work with adults, couples, families, and children facing a wide range of mental health and personal challenges. We regularly have a surplus of referrals and are eager to provide services to all in a timely fashion.

Our clinicians are employed as independent contractors and have access to both a comprehensive benefits package and educational allowance. By joining our team you will have the ability to consult with other clinicians daily as well as attend regular clinical meetings that address operational and clinical topics.
