Job summary

Talk Therapy Canada is seeking a Couple & Family Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Social Worker to join our fully virtual practice.

You will carry a caseload of 10–15 clients per week, provide evidence-based care, and collaborate with an administrative team handling billing, scheduling and referrals.

Flexibility with evenings and weekends is available, and we foster a learning-rich, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

• Licensed therapist in psychotherapy, social work or psychology with active registration (CRPO/OCSWSSW).
• Evidence-based therapy practices and client-centred care.
• Caseload of 10-15 clients per week and use of Jane CMS for documentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-practice, evidence-based psychotherapy.
• Work with individuals, couples and families including group therapy.
• Collaborate with colleagues in a supportive team environment.

What We Ask:

• Registered and in good standing with the Ontario College of Registered Psychotherapists or the Ontario College of Social Workers.
• Currently has or will obtain professional liability insurance, including cyber security, by start date.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of clients’ interactions and progress in our Client Management System, Jane.
• Ability to provide best-practice, evidence-based care.
• Carry a caseload of 10-15 clients per week.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends, to meet client needs.

• Individual adults, teens, and children needing extra support for their relationships
• Couples and family therapy
• Group therapy

Experience & Job Requirements

• Licensed Therapist: Hold a valid license in psychotherapy, social work or psychology. Registered with CRPO or OCSWSSW.
• Experience & Expertise: Demonstrated experience in providing therapy services, with a strong understanding of evidence-based practices.
• Compassion & Empathy: A genuine desire to help others and a deep commitment to client-centred care.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
• Technology Knowledge: Has knowledge and ability to use Google Suite, Jane client management system and virtual tools such as ChatGPT and Zoom.

Pay

• Compensation: Competitive hourly rate to commensurate with experience
• Hours: flexible schedules balancing your life and clinic needs; 10-15 client hours per week with a combo of evening and weekends with some daytime hours sprinkled in
