Job summary

NuVista Mental Health seeks a Registered Psychiatrist to build and manage a private-practice style caseload within an established, supportive clinic network across Canada.

You will benefit from a steady referral base, opportunities for collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and access to resources to support clinical work and professional growth, including education allowances and development support.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in psychiatry.
• Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.
• 2+ years of relevant working experience in psychiatry and related services.
• Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain).
• Experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.
• Experience with veterans and first responders.
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and case management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced PTSD and Trauma-Informed Care.
• Able to provide experienced psychotherapy, psychoeducational and/or psychological assessments.
• Experience with WSIB program.
• Effectively manage case load, reporting.
• Supporting our TMS and Psychedelic Medicine teams.
• Ideally able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, and support the clinic In Person.
