Job summary

Prairie Psychology in Partnership with NuVista Mental Health in Regina is seeking a Registered Psychologist to establish and manage a practice within an established clinic environment. You will benefit from referrals, collaboration opportunities, and resources to support clinical work and professional growth.

The practice focuses on assessment and treatment across ages, with trauma-informed care, public safety focus, and opportunities to work with Veterans, RCMP, and PSC.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology.
• Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body.
• Experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments.
• Experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches.

Responsibilities

• Registered Psychologist psychotherapy.
• PTSD and Trauma-Informed Care, Public Safety focused.
• Able to provide experienced care with Veterans, RCMP and PSC.
• Psychoeducational and/or Psychological Assessments.
• Effectively manage case load, reporting.
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

The Opportunity

As a Registered Psychologist , you will have the autonomy to build and manage your own practice within a supportive, established clinic environment. We are a private mental health practice helping clients of all ages with a wide range of mental health concerns. We specialize in the delivery of assessment and treatment services for public safety personal and have recently added neurofeedback and specialized sleep services to our practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Registered Psychologist psychotherapy
• PTSD and Trauma-Informed Care, Public Safety focused
• Able to provide experienced care with Veterans, RCMP and PSC.
• Psychoeducational and/or Psychological Assessments
• Effectively manage case load, reporting
• Additional Role Expectations:
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or related field)
• Registered and in good standing with the appropriate regulatory body
• Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessments
• Experience with trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and case management skills (e.g.,timely reports)
