Job summary

NuVista Mental Health in Sudbury, ON is seeking a Registered Psychotherapist to build and manage your own practice within our established clinic. You’ll benefit from a steady referral base and collaborative support from a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, CRPO registration, and a commitment of 20+ billable hours per week; flexible scheduling and resources are provided to support clinical work and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or related field.
• Registered and in good standing with CRPO.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional liability insurance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Registered Psychotherapist providing psychotherapy and assessments.
• Provide PTSD and trauma-informed care.
• Manage a caseload with timely reports.
• Experience with WSIB program.
• Work a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Registered Psychotherapist
• Provide experienced PTSD and Trauma-Informed Care
• Able to provide experienced psychotherapy, psychoeducational and/or psychological assessments
• Experience with WSIB program
• Effectively manage case load, reporting
• Additional Role Expectations:
• Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Clinical or Counselling Psychology (or related field)
• Registered and in good standing with the CRPO
• 3+ years of relevant working experience in areas of practice
• Professional Liability Insurance (or willingness to obtain)
• Experience providing psychotherapy and/or psychological assessmentsExperience with trauma-informed, evidence-based approaches
• Strong clinical judgment, professionalism, and case management skills (e.g., timely reports)
• No supervision required would be an asset
