Job summary

Carecor Health Services Ltd. is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for casual assignments in Oshawa, ON. You will work under the direction of the facility charge nurse or RN, providing care that supports patients’ physical, social and emotional well‑being.

Each assignment involves a full 8‑hour shift in a designated facility. The role requires RPN licensure in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, BLS, and recent experience in Medical‑Surgical, Long‑Term Care, or

Qualifications

• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate.
• Proof of immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B.

Responsibilities

• Provide care under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse.
• Deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Practice of Carecor and the hosting facility.
• Support patients to achieve optimal physical, social, and emotional well‑being during 8‑hour shifts.
• Work on a casual, assignment-by-assignment basis across eligible Oshawa facilities.

Schedule: Casual (with flexible shifts)

Hourly Rate of Pay: $35.00 - $42.00

Carecor is looking for dedicated and compassionate Registered Practical Nurses to join our amazing team working in the Oshawa Area for our Transitional care unit facilities. We’re ready when you are!

Under the direction of the facility charge nurse or registered nurse, you will provide care according to the College of Nurses of Ontario, the Standards of Practice of Carecor, and the healthcare facility where assigned - helping foster an environment of optimal physical, social, and emotional well‑being for patients. For each assignment, you will be in one facility for a full 8hr shift. This is a Casual position.

Job Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse Diploma
• Current Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) licensure in good standing with the College of Nurse of Ontario
• Minimum of 300 hours of experience in a Medical‑Surgical, Long‑Term Care, or Transitional Care setting within the past two years
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current N95 Mask Fit Test Certificate
• Proof of current immunization for measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (MMRV), tetanus, pertussis, polio, hepatitis B
• Proof of negative TB skin test within the past one year or negative chest x‑ray within the past five years
• Willing to undergo Vulnerable Sector Police Check as a condition of hire
