Job summary

Sienna Senior Living is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse for a permanent part-time night shift in North Bay's Northern Heights Community. The position offers a competitive hourly rate ($33.47–$35.07) under the collective agreement and a chance to impact residents' daily lives with dignity and respect.

Reporting to the Director of Care, you will provide nursing care per policy and resident plans, support families, and collaborate with a compassionate team focused on growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with the Ontario College of Nurses.
• Experience in geriatrics or senior health is preferred.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in accordance with policy, physician orders, and resident plan of care within RPN/LPN scope.
• Deliver excellent nursing and personal care using sound nursing practice.
• Create a welcoming, supportive environment for residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff.
• Oversee resident care including regular communication with residents and families, and provide guidance to staff.

What you’ll be doing:

You will be a welcomed member of theSienna Senior Living team and impact in the following ways:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with established policy, physician’s orders, the resident plan of care, and within the scope of practice of an RPN/LPN.
• Utilizing sound nursing practice principles, ensure delivery of excellent nursing and personal care
• Creating a welcoming and supportive environment for the residents through teamwork and effective communication with staff
• Overseeing resident care, including regular communication with residents and their families, and providing guidance to staff

  Who you are

  • A Registered Practical Nurse in good standing the Ontario College of Nurses
  • An asset is having experience in Geriatrics, Rehabilitation and/or senior health industry
  • You have good judgement, the ability to identify risk and can foster a positive work environment
  • You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work permit
