Job summary

CareRx Corporation, Canada’s leading specialty pharmacy provider for seniors, seeks an on-site Pharmacy Technician in Lethbridge, AB. You will ensure prescriptions are complete, perform final checks, and support QA in a team setting.

The role requires ACP registration, prior Pharmacy Technician experience preferred, and familiarity with KROLL Pharmacy systems. Strong communication, organizational, and under deadline performance will be essential.

Qualifications

  • Must be currently registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP).
  • Experience as a Registered Pharmacy Technician is strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems is a strong asset.
  • Retail/Community/Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated computer or word processing skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all prescriptions are complete and authentic.
  • Provide final check in team-based workflow and QA involvement.
  • Confirm accuracy and completeness of products prepared for delivery.
  • Accept verbal prescriptions from prescribing authorities.
  • Perform final check of prepared prescriptions.
  • Work with advanced pharmacy software and automation to enhance patient safety.
  • Provide clinical service support and leadership opportunities.

Your Day to Day:

  • Ensure that all prescriptions are complete and authentic

What You Bring to The Team:

  • Current registration as a Registered Pharmacy Technician with the Alberta College of Pharmacy (ACP)
  • Experience working as a Registered Pharmacy Technician strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of KROLL Pharmacy systems is a strong asset

Location: This is an on-site role located at 3287 32 St N Lethbridge, AB. This is a Full Time role. Hours of work are between generally Monday - Friday (9:00am - 5:00pm)
