Neighbourly Pharmacy Inc. is seeking a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician to join Sandstone Pharmacies McKenzie Lake in Calgary, AB.

You will transcribe prescriptions, prepare medications, and ensure safety and accuracy for every patient. The team strives to deliver exceptional care while meeting regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers.
• Ensure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medications.
• Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies.
• Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications.
• Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling.
