Job summary

Neighbourly Pharmacy is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician for Pharmasave #428 in Melfort, Saskatchewan. You will transcribe prescriptions, count and prepare medications, and ensure accuracy and safety in every fill.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and accurately transcribe verbal prescriptions from healthcare providers
  • Ensure patient safety through accurate and high-quality preparation and release of medications
  • Transfer prescriptions to and receive prescriptions from other pharmacies
  • Process prescriptions by entering orders, counting, measuring, compounding, and packaging medications
  • Perform final checks on prepared prescriptions for accuracy and safety
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory standards
  • Oversee Pharmacy Assistants to ensure efficient and safe prescription filling
