Job summary

The University Hospital of Northern BC is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse for ICU to deliver compassionate patient care. The role involves working under the supervision of the Manager or designate and adhering to BC nursing standards and the BCCNM code of ethics, within patient- and family-centered care.

Shift rotation includes Days and Nights: 07:00 to 19:15 and 19:00 to 07:15 on a rotating schedule. This position offers teamwork with the interprofessional team and opportunities to apply

Qualifications

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in BC (BCCNM).
• ICU/critical care experience preferred.
• Ability to work with an interprofessional team.

Do you have a passion for nursing? We have the position for you! We are seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with a dedication for delivering compassionate patient care to join our team at the University Hospital of Northern BC.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.

The Registered Nurse – ICU, working collaboratively with the interprofessional team, plans and provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to clients with various complex health care issues. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
