Job summary

University Hospital of Northern BC in Canada is seeking a motivated Registered Nurse with ICU experience to join our team. The RN will provide direct patient care, collaborate with an interprofessional team and support patient-centered care aligned with BCCNM standards.

Shift rotations include Days and Nights from 07:00 to 19:15 and 19:00 to 07:15, with rotating schedules to meet unit needs. Applicants must be licensed and committed to high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Registered Nurse with BCCNM.
• Experience in acute or ICU settings preferred.

In accordance with the established mission, vision, values, and strategic priorities of Northern Health, and under the general supervision of Manager or designate, the Registered Nurse practices in accordance with the standards of professional practice and code of ethics as outlined by the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) as well as within a patient and family centered care model.

The Registered Nurse - ICU, working collaboratively with the interprofessional team, plans and provides direct patient care by assessing, planning, providing and evaluating nursing care to clients with various complex health care issues. The Registered Nurse demonstrates a specialized body of knowledge and bases practice on nursing science and related content from other sciences and humanities.
