Job summary

ParaMed is seeking a registered nurse to provide in-home care across Wawa, Hawk Junction, and Dubreuilville, Ontario. You will autonomously assess patients, develop and monitor care plans, and collaborate with families to support comfort and independence at home.

The role requires valid CNO RN registration, a driver’s license, and willingness to travel. On-call coverage, a signing bonus up to $2,500, and part-time scheduling with every other weekend off are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Active licensure with the CNO as an RN in good standing.
• Valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.
• On-call coverage, including after hours, to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients using appropriate tools and techniques, and continually monitor care plans.
• Execute and update care plans based on patient needs.
• Engage patients through rapport-building and collaborative care.
• Maintain and update professional patient records related to patient encounters and plans.
