Job summary

ParaMed is hiring a Part-time Registered Nurse to provide in-home care across Elliot Lake and surrounding communities. The RN will perform assessments, implement and monitor care plans, and support patients in remaining safely at home.

This role emphasizes autonomy, compassion, and strong clinical judgement. Travel within the designated area is required, and on-call coverage including after hours is part of the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the CNO as an RN in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are required.
• Experience in delivering community/home care is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Using assessment tools to assess patients’ individualized needs.
• Execute and monitor care plans; update records accordingly.
• Engage patients with rapport and collaborative approach.
• Maintain and update professional patient records and plans.
