Job summary

ParaMed in Ontario, Barrie area, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care with flexible scheduling and both full-time and part-time options. You will perform assessments, implement and monitor care plans, and build lasting relationships with patients and families.

We offer mentorship, a comprehensive clinical orientation, hands-on skills labs, and plenty of opportunities for career growth. On-call coverage, travel between patient homes, and a $3500 signing bonus are provided to

Qualifications

  • Registered Nurse with CNO in good standing.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience delivering community care is an asset.
  • Willingness to travel to patient residences within a designated area.
  • On-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities

  • Assess patients using appropriate tools to determine needs.
  • Execute and monitor care plans and update records.
  • Engage patients through rapport and collaborative care.
  • Maintain and update professional patient records after encounters.
