Job summary

ParaMed is seeking an Registered Nurse to provide in-home community nursing services across Ontario. You will perform patient assessments, implement and monitor care plans, and build trusting relationships with patients and families in their homes.

The role offers a signing bonus and comprehensive benefits, with on-call coverage after hours to ensure patient safety. Travel within the designated area is required as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• CNO registration as a Registered Nurse in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
• Experience in delivering community care is an asset.
• Reliability and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel to and from patient residences within a designated area.
• On-call coverage, including after hours to ensure patient safety and to meet patient care needs.

• Executing and continuously monitor care plans.
• Engaging patients using a collaborative approach by building rapport and trust.

In this community nursing role, as a Registered Nurse (RN) you will have scheduled visits to care for patients in various settings. You will work with patients of all ages with differing complexity of care needs and play a key role in helping patients remain comfortable in their homes for as long as possible.
